Episode 39 - Why facebook isn't enough for your pastured pig marketing
Wednesday Mar 04, 2020
Wednesday Mar 04, 2020
In this episode, I fly solo with a marketing discussion. Many start up farms these days rely heavily on social media to be their main source of communication with potential and existing customers. The convenience and the popularity make it the obvious choice. What would happen, however, if those social media platforms changed overnight or decided to change their terms of use and kick you off of their platform? How would you communicate with customers? In this discussion, I point out some of the potential issues with use social media (facebook) exclusively and suggest other options to keep communication conduits open.
