Tuesday Sep 27, 2022
Tuesday Sep 27, 2022
In this episode, Chuck Lewis (Sheraton Park Farms) and I discuss the topic of castration. Is it an archaic practice that needs to be outlawed? Does it still serve a purpose on the farm? How and when should you do it? We cover these questions and a whole lot more in this episode.

I’ve read that AGH pigs are less likely to have taint. I recently had a 450# boar processed and donated it to the church. Everyone said it was fantastic and flavorful. I had some of it and it was terrific. I remember praying that he not have taint. Prayers answered.

Please don’t use blue to highlight reference links. Yellow or some other high-contrast color would make them readable. (I can’t expand the view or rotate the screen to read them) thanks!
